Easy, fun and inexpensive, the coin presses will flatten any penny—or quarters at select locations—into a unique design for a nominal fee. For two quarters and a penny, guests can experience one of the great traditions of Walt Disney World – the pressed penny.

These little beauties are all over Walt Disney World and are themed after characters, parks, rides, resorts, etc. You are sure to find many of your favorites if you want just a few, or you can try to collect them all!

When you are picking the pennies to bring for the machines, try to pick the newer shinier pennies. These will help give you the prettiest and best looking pressed pennies for your collection. If you don’t have pretty, shiny ones in your piggy bank, you could always take them to your bank or to a store and ask them to trade out for shiny pennies. Use pennies made 1982 or prior for best results. Pennies made after 1983 have zinc sandwiched between the copper coating and will leave silver streaks in the pressed penny and will not hold the shape as nicely as the all copper pennies.
