Walt Disney World's 50th-anniversary celebration begins TODAY! Here's highlights of all the fun you'll experience when you visit during this 18-month long grand party:

SHOWS

HarmonioUS- EPCOT This brand new spectacular is visible around the World Showcase Lagoon and intertwines Disney music with stories that bring people together. Giant floating screens, fountains, and magnificent lighting bring Disney tales like The Lion King, Brave, Moana, Coco, and Aladdin to life in one of the biggest shows ever produced by Disney parks.
Disney Enchantment - Magic Kingdom The latest firework show at Magic Kingdom brings the magic of projections and pyrotechnics from Cinderella's Castle and down Main Street, U.S.A.
KiteTails - Animal Kingdom A 15-minute long show highlighting amazing windcatchers and kites modeled after Disney animal characters like Zazu, Simba, and Baloo soar above the Discovery River amphitheater throughout the day.
Drawn to Life - Disney Springs This original Cirque De Soleil show will premiere on November 18th. This one-of-a-kind experience combines the imaginative art of acrobatics with Disney illustrations.

THINGS TO SEE

Each park icon has been transformed into a "Beacon of Magic" with shining, shimmering, and splendid decor that brilliantly illuminate day and night.

Fifty golden statues representing the most famous Disney characters are hidden throughout the parks. How many of the Fab 50 can you find during your trip?

Shopaholics will rejoice with a wide variety of EARidscent and 50th anniversary-themed merchandise, from Minnie ears to beach towels.

FOOD

Space 220 opened to guests this week at Epcot near the Mission Space attraction, transporting guests 220 miles above the Earth's surface for a meal that's out of this world! Enjoy American fare and cosmic concoctions like the Celestial Cosmopolitan or Centauri Burger while viewing Earth from a panoramic space station.

Over 150 new menu items were added to the various dining locations around property to celebrate the anniversary. So head over to Hollywood Studios for Glimmer and Shimmer Pineapple Mousse, or pick up an EARidescent Ice Dream Cone at Disney's Blizzard Beach water park.

The Magical Beacon Cocktail, a specialty drink formulated exclusively for the 50th anniversary, is also available at various table service locations, bars, and lounges across the property.

ATTRACTIONS

Remy's Ratatouille Adventure - EPCOT

Located inside the France Pavilion, this 4D adventure allows guests to view Gusteau's Famous Restaurant with a rat's-eye view. A virtual queue is required for this attraction, which means no more waiting in long lines!

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind - EPCOT

Disney announced yesterday that this ride will debut during the 50th-anniversary celebration, sometime in 2022! This indoor “story” coaster that will feature Disney’s first reverse launch, 360-degree rotations, and will be one of the longest enclosed roller coasters in the world.

LOOKING AHEAD

The much anticipated Star War's themed hotel, Galatic Starcruiser, will begin voyaging to the ends of the universe in spring 2022, right in the middle of the anniversary celebrations. Several attractions with no official opening dates are in the works, including TRON Lightcycle Power Run at Magic Kingdom. Will it open sometime in the next 18 months?
